Prizes!

I made this journal with the hope of giving others an idea of what to offer for contest prizes.

As you may or may not know, a week or so ago I launched a poll regarding the use of Llama Badges as prizes. Many people didn't like the idea, or saw them as pointless because you could only recieve one Llama Badge per donator. Starting from the next contest, Llama Badges will not be seen as acceptable prizes.

Being a plushie group, another issue is PLUSHIES as prizes. Because we are aspiring plushie makers, we may be able to make plushies for ourselves and would not like to receive them as gifts.

So read on for other ideas of what to donate as a prize!


Paid-for prizes
Subscriptions!
Subscriptions come in the form of 1 month, three months and one year. Subscriptions allow deviants to decorate their profile page, request critiques and write polls among other things!
Points!
Points cost a bit of real money to buy and are used to save up for official dA items, subscriptions, or can be used to commission other artists!
Artwork!
A free plushie commission, full colour drawing, sketch, stamp... The list goes on! Whatever artsy thing you are good at can be offered as a prize!
Other physical prizes!
Jewelry, toys, candy, clothing...
Cash!
If you're feeling super generous, you can offer a cash prize!

Discount codes / money-off vouchers!
For selected stores or personal Etsy shops!

Some deviants may not appreciate being watched or having their work favourited as a result of winning a contest, but others would be happy to recieve this!
